General

What is XiroLink?

XiroLink is a liquidity bridge. It connects to your liquidity providers, turns their prices into one clean feed per symbol with your markups applied, and delivers it to MetaTrader 4 and 5, web terminals and FIX clients. Risk accounts, monitoring and alerts are built in.

What is a liquidity bridge?

Software that sits between liquidity providers and trading platforms. It keeps the connections to each side, normalises symbol names, decides which price each client sees and applies the broker's spreads.

Who is XiroLink for?

Forex and CFD brokers, prop trading firms and anyone distributing prices from one or more LPs to their own platforms or clients.

Who hosts it?

We host and run it for you. Every broker gets its own server and database with a fixed IP, never shared with another broker. Enterprise adds the region you choose, your own subdomain and a 99.9% SLA.

Why does a fixed IP matter?

Liquidity providers only accept connections from addresses they have allowed. Your bridge both receives and makes connections from one fixed IP, so you give your LPs a single address that never changes.

Connectivity

How do liquidity providers connect?

Over FIX 4.4 or TCP. Each LP connection has its own session, heartbeat, reconnect interval and a watchdog that notices if prices stop while the session stays logged in.

Can I get prices without an LP contract?

Yes. Connect a Massive market data plan as a maker and one key streams forex, metals and crypto. The built-in symbol library has 1,800+ instruments ready to add with the right digits.

Does XiroLink work with Centroid?

Yes, both ways. A FIX maker takes prices from a Centroid bridge, and a FIX taker feeds a Centroid bridge as its LP, following Centroid's FIX 4.4 specifications including its weekly session reset.

Can my bridges share one LP connection?

Yes, with Xiro Connect. One bridge sends its prices to your other XiroLink bridges using a share key and fixed IPs, so a single LP or market data connection serves several brands, each with its own spreads.

How do my platforms connect?

Over FIX, TCP or WebSocket. MetaTrader 4 and 5 use the XiroLink datafeed plugins. Each connection has its own port, credentials and allowed IP addresses.

How many connections are included?

Standard includes 1 LP and 2 takers, Professional 3 LPs and 5 takers, and Enterprise is unlimited. Extra LPs are $200 a month each.

Can I change connections without a restart?

Yes. Add or edit makers, takers, symbols and markups while the bridge runs, and restart a single connection without touching the others.

Pricing and symbols

How are prices from several LPs combined?

Per symbol you choose: one maker, the best bid and ask across makers, or a priority order that fails over as soon as a feed goes stale and switches back when it recovers.

How does symbol mapping work?

Each LP symbol maps to one universal symbol, which maps to each platform's own name. Paste an LP's symbol list and the bridge proposes the mappings, or import them as CSV.

Can each platform get different spreads?

Yes. Markup profiles hold a default markup and per-symbol rules in points, percent or price, with an optional spread minimum and maximum, and are assigned per taker. A guard sends the raw price instead of any quote a markup would cross.

Can I widen spreads for news quickly?

Yes. Every markup profile has three multipliers. Switch to the second, for example 2x, and every markup in the profile doubles at once; switch back when the news has passed.

How are spreads shown?

In points, the units of a symbol's last digit, as MetaTrader shows them: EURUSD at 1.12243 / 1.12250 is a spread of 7. Hover to see the price difference.

What are synthetic instruments?

Formula symbols built from your feed, such as crosses, baskets and indices, and generated instruments like volatility, boom and crash indices that need no LP. They are included in Professional and Enterprise.

Operations and security

What does the dashboard show?

What needs attention right now, live prices, market sessions, maker and taker status, feed analytics, LP comparison, risk accounts and logs, in light or dark theme and on any screen size.

Where do alerts go?

Email, Telegram, Slack or Teams, and signed webhooks to your own systems.

Will I know if a symbol stops pricing?

Yes. Every symbol is watched while its market is open: a warning when it has had no fresh price for a while, an error when takers have had none for longer, and a notice when it switches to a backup LP and back. Limits are set per asset class.

How is access protected?

Two-factor sign-in with an authenticator app, admin and read-only viewer roles, IP blocking with automatic blocks after repeated failed logins, and an audit log of every change.

Is configuration backed up?

Yes, automatically to S3 compatible storage on the interval you choose. Credentials are encrypted at rest.
